This winter, our crew teamed up with Kent Homes to insulate a new double-story build in Eltham, nestled in the green wedge of the Nillumbik Shire. We helped bring this project to life by insulating the entire building from head to toe, ensuring it was ready to stand up to Melbourne’s unpredictable weather. 

We started with our Brane VHP wall wrap, which went on the exterior of the frame right after it was first erected. This is a critical step that protects the timber frame and other elements from the weather during the build. It also creates a solid barrier against moisture and air leaks for years to come. Next, we got in under the house to fit polyester subfloor insulation. We can install this from underneath or from above, making it a flexible solution for any team. 

To finish off the job, we installed a trusted Australian brand of batts throughout the home, from the ceilings to the garage walls and between the floors. This product is a fantastic all-rounder, known for its high-quality, sustainable materials and excellent thermal performance. By the time we were done, this home was fully insulated and ready for its new owners. It’s the kind of job that’s built to last, ensuring the occupants will be comfortable and can save a bunch of power bills all year round.
