This past July, our crew teamed up with Prolifica on an extension and renovation job in Camberwell. Tucked away just off Canterbury Road, this project was a perfect example of blending the old with the new. We got started by installing high-performance polyester batts in the subfloor of both the original house and the new extension. These will not only boost the thermal performance from the ground up but also ensure a solid foundation of comfort.

To tackle noise, we applied Greenlag Acoustics lagging to the pipes throughout the home. This will make a huge difference, especially in a renovation, by muting the sound of water running through the pipes. It’s the kind of detail that turns a good job into a great one. We then moved on to bulk insulation, using a leading Australian brand for the ceilings, external walls, and between the floors on both the ground and first levels. This product is a fantastic choice, as it’s made from recycled materials, is eco-friendly, and offers a sustainable solution for any home.

With this project, we’ve delivered a complete insulation package using some of the best products on the market. The result is a fully insulated home that’s ready to meet any energy report requirements, ensuring the owners will be comfortable in their newly renovated space for years to come.
